Welcome to the Pod!
Whether your swimmer is brand new to the sport or has been racing for years, we’d love to have you join the Orcas! Our experienced coaches provide instruction in a safe, positive environment designed to help every swimmer improve — from learning the four basic strokes to building endurance and cutting time.

2026 Season Information
Swim Season Dates & Schedule
Practices (start Wednesday, April 29, 2026)
- May: Coached practices held on weekday evenings at Pine Brook pool
- June: Coached practices held on weekday mornings at Pine Brook and Brookwood pools
Swim Meets (start May 23)
- Season meets occur each Saturday at Pine Brook or away team pools starting May 23 through June 20
Who Can Join?
- Ages: 4–18
- Residency: Pine Brook or Brookwood residency is not required
All new swim team participants will be evaluated by our coaching staff to determine readiness for the program. By the end of the first week of practice, the swimmer will need to make it across the pool, doing whatever stroke, unassisted without touching the bottom or sides.
2026 Season Prices per Family
- First Child: $195
- Second Child: $195
- Third Child: $115
- Fourth+ Child: $0
Note: There is a $25 late fee per swimmer for those registering after May 10
Participation & Volunteering
Practice and meet attendance are not required — but the more you practice and compete, the more you improve!
Each family is required to volunteer at every swim meet their child attends. Approximately 100 Orca volunteers are needed to run each home meet and 40 to run each away meet. We need every family to work at every meet your child swims.
