Hi Orcas Family! I’m Abby Luo and I’ll be the head coach this summer! A little bit about me - I was an Orca swimmer starting back in 2013. I went on to swim club and then high school at Clear Lake HS. My first year of coaching was as an Orcas junior coach in 2017 and I’ve been coaching ever since in both summer league and club. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2024 and am currently in my second year of teaching and assistant coaching aquatics at Clear Springs HS! I’m so excited to be back and looking forward to a fun and fast season!
Hello, my name is Kim Anton. I started my swim journey started at age 6 when I joined a country club team in Delaware. When my family moved to Texas at age 9, I swam for SCAT and the Friendswood Aquatic Swim Team (FAST) in the summer. At age 10, I competed at Texas Age Group (TAGS) in the 200 Free and 50 Fly. I then started swimming for Aquastar and competed again at TAGs at ages 11 and 12 in the 50 Fly and 100 Fly. During high school, I swam for Friendswood and competed at State in the 200 IM and 100 Fly. Following high school, I coached for FAST and YMCA swim teams. I have also taught Pilates for 7 years and currently work as a nurse at UTMB Galveston PICU. I have a 13-year-old daughter who swims with HEAT and will be joining the Orcas this summer. I'm excited for a great season!
Hello, my name is Levi Del Angel. I began swimming at age 7 with The Woodlands Swim Team. At 11, I moved to Aquastar, where I trained for four years, followed by one year with the Houston Bridge Bats. I swam at Pasadena Memorial High School, Orcas, and with HEAT where I also coached younger swimmers. I am continuing my swimming career at the University of St. Thomas in downtown Houston where I am majoring in Biology. I’m excited to work with everyone this summer. Go Orcas!
