Hello Everyone,

Our next home meet of the season is this Saturday, June 6 against the League City Barracudas at Clear Springs High School. Due to the potentially inclement weather, we are changing venues. Note that doors will open at 6:30 am. Please read all the way through, as there is a lot of good information in here.

Timeline

• Arrival: 6:30 am
• Check In: 6:40 am
• Scratches are done at 7:00 am
• Orcas Warm Up: 7:00 – 7:20 am
• Team Meeting: 7:30 am
• Officials Meeting 7:30 am
• Timer Meeting: 7:40 am for both shifts
• Meet Starts: 8:00 am

Swimmer and Volunteer Check In

Check in for volunteers and swimmer will be at the check in table located near the gymnasium entrance. ALL swimmers must check in before the 7:00 am scratch time. If your swimmer does not check in on time, they will not be allowed to swim in the meet – there is NO late check in. If you need to scratch your swimmer, please e-mail Andy Adams (PBW Clerk).

Family Setup in the Gymnasium

This is an indoor meet – please pay close attention to the following instructions:

• GYM FLOORS WILL BE COVERED BY THE TEAMS WITH PLASTIC TARPS PRIOR TO SET UP – NO EXCEPTIONS
• Blankets are not acceptable barriers between chairs and the gym floor.
• Space is limited – no rolling coolers, wagons, or cots of any kind. No inflatable items (mattresses etc.) as they take up too much space (if you use a wagon to bring in your gear, it cannot stay in the gym).
• There will be no setup in the bleachers of the gym or in the stands on the pool deck.

Viewing Swimmers

We will allow parents to come in and watch their swimmer's race, but please do not set up in the bleachers. We ask that you enter, watch your swimmer, and then exit to allow other parents to watch their swimmers.

Parking

Please ensure that no vehicles are parked along the fire lanes. This is a critical safety measure to ensure emergency access is always clear Please see the parking map attachment.

Concessions

We will be selling donuts ($2) and kolaches ($3) in the morning. For lunch at around 10:15 am, we will have pizza ($2.50/slice). We will also have soft drinks/water ($1) and Gatorade ($2). We will have cash and card ($5 card minimum) payments available.
