Hello Everyone,

Tomorrow, June 20, is our last home meet of the season against Friendswood at Pinebrook Pool. We are all looking forward to a fun day of swimming. This is a home meet. Please read all the way through, as there is a lot of good information in here.

Timeline

• Arrival: 6:30 am
• Check in: 6:40 am
• Scratches are done at 7:00 am
• Orcas Warm Up: 7:00 – 7:20 am
• Team Meeting: 7:30 am
• Officials Meeting 7:30 am
• Timer Meeting: 7:40 am for both shifts
• Meet Starts: 8:00 am

Swimmer and Volunteer Check In

Check in for volunteers and swimmers will at a table close to the entrance of pavilion (where your swimmer enters for practice). ALL swimmers must check in before the 7:00 am scratch time. If your swimmer does not check in on time, they will not be allowed to swim in the meet – there is NO late check in. If you need to scratch your swimmer, please e-mail Andy Adams (PBW Clerk).

Family Setup

• Set up will be in the park area outside the pool gates. There is NO SETUP on the pool deck.
• Items to bring- swimsuit, towels, goggles, swim caps, tents, sunscreen, bug spray, and something for your swimmer to do between events
• Caps are required for meets (we will have caps for sale - $10 at check-in). Orca caps are not required; plain swim caps are acceptable. However, suits/caps must have no other insignia (no USA Swim, high school, other teams, etc.).

Viewing Swimmers

We will allow parents to come onto the pool deck and watch their swimmer's race. We ask that you enter, watch your swimmer, and then exit to allow other parents to watch their swimmers.

Swimmer Ready Area

Swimmers will enter the pool through the front gates by the restrooms and move towards the ready area under the pergola inside the pool area.

Parking

Please be mindful of parking and do not block residence driveways, do not park at no parking signs or handicapped spots (unless handicapped).

Concessions

We will be selling donuts ($2) and breakfast tacos ($3) in the morning. For lunch at around 10:15 am, we will have pizza from Buck's ($2.50/slice). We will also have soft drinks/water ($1) and Gatorade ($2). We will have cash and card ($5 card minimum) payments available.
